What a tasteless idiot, I was really pissed off when he was the first person interviewed at the rogue one premiere and bashed the Prequels there. The Phantom Menace is a work of art, I have it’s poster hanging on my wall.

He’s desperately been trying to carve out a name for himself in the the nerd-media circuit for a few years now. His opinions never stray from nerd-media orthodoxy. The saddest part is that he was the target of this same bs hyperbolic negativity during TNG. Wesley Crusher was the Jar Jar of TNG to many cynical Trek fans (I never minded him).

This is unbelievable. If George Lucas was running the company Wil’s involvement would never even be considered. It shows a complete lack of respect for the creator of Star Wars who made the prequels. If this was Paramount and the Star Trek property this would never have happened in a million years. You don’t bash Roddenberry and the first 3 seasons of Trek publicly and then become an official Trek writer. With this and Rinzler’s blog being shut down, the new Lucasfilm heads are showing themselves to be a real nasty bunch of people.

Simon Peggy alone was bad enough and I have been boycotting that celebrity pissant since late Fall 2015. But another Simon Pegg, that is way over the top. This Peggy is in the TNG cast and his name is Richard William “Wil” Wheaton III most famous for playing Wesley Crusher. I am now boycotting Wil Wheaton along with Simon Pegg and Chris Pine. Though I am far more of a old-school Star Trek fan than a Star Wars fan; I’ve got to say that this obsessive-compulsive SW prequel bashing is wrong of so many levels, especially since people like Simon and Wil get rewarded for it. Didn’t anyone tell the current heads of Lucasfilm that you don’t reward misbehaving children since they reward obnoxious prequel-bashers by hiring them!
Wil Wheaton wants to be an autocrat in parenting telling parents to not let their kids watch the SW prequels all because he hates them, nothing else. I fear for his sons Nolan and Ryan Wheaton since he is liable to brainwash them into his original trilogy = good & SW prequels = bad fanaticism. I would not want to expose children to Titan A.E. since it is too violent for kids to be watching.
I have been avoiding Nu-Trek for having both Simon Pegg and a disregard for what TOS was all about and now I feel like parting with TNG for having Wil Wheaton in it.
